Mo’ Milk is a plant-based milk company designed for children aged 5–10. This short project was based primarily on audience research, leading to the creation of little milk mascots to represent the brand. The concept is that these small milks and cookies would be found in school cafeterias as a dairy free alternative to the classic school lunch milk cartons.
Based on my research into competing mainstream brands, I found most used some sort of character, bright colors, and large easy to read and pronounce type to harness pester power and lead kids to engage with the brand and bring their parents with them. Mo’ Milk tries to use this tactic for good, driving kids to make plant-based choices good for their health and environment. Mo’ Milk is designed to compete with the plain blue and brown cartons of the school lunch line, seeming familiar at first glance but bringing unexpected fun and activities in its packaging.
